Joan has been a registered dietitian for over 40 years. She is known for her expertise in kidney disease, vegetarianism, migraines, and neurological disorders. She is a featured speaker and writer both locally and nationally on nutrition and chronic disease management. She is the author of the book the Vegetarian Diet for Kidney Disease Treatment. In addition, Joan has authored several peer reviewed articles in medical and nutrition publications.
Recognizing patient frustration in control of their health conditions, Joan started Food 4 Life eight years ago, adding food sensitivity counseling related to migraine and other pain disorders to her area of nutrition management.
Ashley is a registered dietitian and has been part of Food 4 Life for five years. She utilizes Mediator Release Testing (MRT) for a variety of medical conditions. In addition she specializes in weight loss and sports nutrition counseling. She complements her values related to nutrition and health as an avid runner having completed over 80 marathons and 15 ultra marathons.
